Went to my first SIM career event a couple of days ago. Useful to get some perspective and help with my career as I am going to graduate soon. My only regret was that I should have gone sooner.
Still, it was a good event. Got a quick overview of what resources are available and future events to attend. It was an event to network with those outside my course, and given the last two years of lockdown, something I admit I missed. As an ex-sales person, networking are always welcome. Also, free food.
